I must have moved my studio around, and put it back in place, four times over this weekend.
Been slightly distracted by the usual things! However the desk is up and I am now able to utalise the wooden wall that was put up for me, but sadly never finished due to lack of wood.
It may have ment lugging around my massive cutting table. But the wall is now fit for purpose and photos of projects have now been taken. HOORAY!
Seems like I am one of those mental people going to the all night opening of The V&A exhibition of Alexander McQueen's work.
Its all about the BECAUSE I CAN. Especially as one bus will take me there at stupid o'clock in the morning.
Ah the beauty of West London. Fnarph!
I once missed a very important exhibition once, because I was daft enough to let a man talk me into missing it. Well as this year unfolds it's all about ME just gets stronger.
And you know what, it is all about a can do attitude, because at last I am admitting, its BECAUSE I CAN, that I am finally happy.
It has been two weeks since I finished at Pottery Cafe Battersea. The past week has been spent in a Primary school in Woolwich, London.
What an amazing experience. I was given the opportunity to teach a weeks worth of Design Technology.
Year 3 have been amazing! Its not usual to teach Design Technology in as much depth as I did with the eight year old cohort I was teaching.
But as I thought they were as capable, keen and full of ideas as I belived them to be.
This weeks pop-up creations have given me great inspiration for some new makes, I would like to publish very soon.
Having graduated in Costume design from Wimbledon school of art, London, in 2001.
